The 2nd Floor development & Update 1.3 - Dev Blog #8

Thanks for the kind reception to our announcement of Dark Pals: The 2nd Floor. We appreciate your patience as we work on bringing Dark Pals to the next level! While we’re fully focused on The 2nd Floor, we wanted to share a quick update on where we’re at.

Early development

The 2nd Floor is coming along nicely, with first internal testing already underway. We couldn’t help ourselves, so here are some early screenshots. Keep in mind these are work-in-progress and don’t represent the final quality!

Update 1.3

Last dev blog we talked about The 1st Floor’s update to Unreal Engine 5.7. When we started development on The 2nd Floor, we had to rework large parts of The 1st Floor, which unfortunately delayed this update. In the next Dev Blog we’ll go further in-depth on the technical side of this update and all the changes coming with it, but for now: we’re still planning to release Update 1.3 this year!
